Rhondda Rotary held its eighth annual Charity Lunch at Llanerch Vineyard on Friday 16th May, attended by over 90 guests. The aim being to raise money to support a club project to help organisations maintain defibrillators in the Rhondda area. The guests enjoyed a lovely three course lunch, some fun items and a raffle, which raised welcome funds. They were entertained by compere Bob Harris and the guest speaker Sir Wyn Williams, former High Court Judge, who treated the guests to some both interesting and funny stories from his legal career. Thanks to Llanerch Vineyard for hosting the lunch once again, to those businesses that sponsored adverts in the lunch programme, to the Events Room, who ran the Silent Auction and most importantly to the guests for attending. A great afternoon was had by all in the sunshine at a fabulous venue.
