After a lot of planning the day of the walk finally arrived on Saturday, the rain held off and the walkers completed the 8K route and enjoyed a buffet at the end. The sponsorship monies raised will support dementia groups and those living with dementia in the Valley communities. RCT’s Mayor, Councillor Dan Owen-Jones and Councillor Rob Harris were present to say a few words to the walkers before they set off.
Immediate Past President Ann Balby presented the following dementia groups with cheques to spend on their priority items, to support those living with dementia in their communities.
