Rhondda Rotary held our fundraising Ascot Races Day on Thursday 19th June at the Rhondda Golf Club. The weather and the food was outstanding, which made for a very successful and enjoyable ‘day at the races’. After the races, the guests were entertained by Tony West.
The event raised just over £1000, so a big thank you to all the guests who showed their generous support by attending. The monies raised will be used to support a project to help maintain defibrillators in the Rhondda area.
A big thank you to Matthew and his staff at the Golf Club for the excellent food and service. Thanks to everyone for making the day a great success and we look forward to seeing you all next year.
