The Rhondda Rotary Charity lunch is one of a number of events and activities that the Club arranges to raise funds to support deserving international, national and local organisations and individuals to achieve their goals. Past events have raised funds for Cancer Research Wales, Noah’s Ark, Parkinson’s UK, the Alzheimer’s Society, the Tenovus Closer to Home Appeal, the Rhian Griffiths Forget Me Not Fund and local dementia groups and those living with dementia in our Valleys communities.
This year the Club President’s aim is to support a Club project to help maintain defibrillators in the Rhondda communities.
This year’s event will be held at Llanerch Vineyard on Friday 16th May 2025, commencing at 1.00pm. A fabulous three course lunch will be enjoyed and there will be some fun items. The event will be ably compered by Rob Harris and the speaker is Sir Wyn Williams, former High Court Judge and Chair of the Post Office Inquiry.
