Rhondda Rotary Charity Lunch – 12th May 2023
The Rhondda Rotary Charity lunch is one of a number of events and activities that the Club arranges to raise funds to support deserving international, national and local organisations and individuals to achieve their goals. Past events have raised funds for Cancer Research Wales, Noah’s Ark, Parkinson’s UK, the Alzheimer’s Society, the Tenovus Closer to Home Appeal and the Rhian Griffiths Forget Me Not Fund.
This year the Club President’s aim is to support local dementia groups and those living with dementia in our local communities and the event will help achieve that aim.
This year’s event will be held at Llanerch Vineyard on Friday 12th May 2023, commencing at 1.30pm. A fabulous three course lunch will be enjoyed and there will be some fun items and an auction. The event will be ably compered by Rob Harris and the speaker is Ryan Jones, former British Lion, Wales and Ospreys captain.
