The Rotary Young Musician Area 4 Finals were held at Islwyn High School, Oakdale on the 16th January 2024. Rhondda sponsored guitarist William Richards-Berry in the Instrumentalist competition and Vivienne Evans-Lees in the vocalist competition. Other competitors were sponsored by the Rotary Clubs of Crickhowell, Pontllanfraith and Bargoed. The performances across the board were of a high standard and congratulations go to the winners in each category who were:
Instrumentalist – Kiera Morgan, Cello, sponsored by Crickhowell RC
Vocalist – Vivienne Evans-Lees, sponsored by Rhondda RC
The District 1150 Finals will be held on Thursday 13th February 2025 at the All Saints Church, Porthcawl and we give the Area 4 winners our best wishes for these finals.
